Brian Bortz

Brian obtained his Bachelor of Arts in accounting and finance, as well as a Master of Science in accounting from Texas A&M University.
Brian started his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen in Dallas. There, he audited banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions. He then joined Ernst and Young, where he assisted high net-worth individuals with retirement planning, income tax planning, estate planning and investment consulting. He also served on the firm’s national due diligence advisory board.
Brian joined Cain Watters and Associates in 2004. He works with dentists throughout every stage of their career.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and an Investment Advisor Representative. Brian also holds membership in the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association.
Brian and his wife, Tiffany, have two children, Braden and Macy. Outside of work, he enjoys cheering on Texas A&M Aggies, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
