The concept of accumulating wealth isn’t as complicated as it sounds. By learning this powerful concept, people across generations can equip themselves to accumulate wealth of their own.
Dr. Edward Ginsberg has understood this concept for over 20 years. He is not only a successful pediatric dentist, but also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. With a passion for teaching, he brings wisdom from his experiences in his practice and life, into his classroom.
Accumulating Knowledge
Ginsberg, a longtime client of Cain Watters & Associates, first attended the 3to1 Foundation’s Accumulating Wealth Seminar (AWS) in 1994 at an American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Practice Management event. The seminar is traditionally hosted by CWA professionals that volunteer to teach this concept, a concept that is the core of CWA’s financial philosophy.
Nearly 17 years after attending his first seminar, Ginsberg and his wife, Jeannie, brought their children and their spouses to the AWS presented by Foundation Founder Darrell Cain.
“My wife and I felt the information we have gleaned from being clients of CWA for so many years was vital to our children and their spouses,” Ginsberg said. “We felt it was important for them to have this information as early as possible in their married life.”
Spreading the Knowledge
The seminar is rich with information that Ginsberg felt compelled to share with more than just his family. He conferred with Foundation Director Michele Mulholland about hosting his own seminar.
“When someone like Dr. Ginsberg, who is so passionate about spreading the AWS message, takes our materials and shares it,” Mulholland said, “this reaffirms that we are doing something very important.”
To prepare for the AWS presentation, Ginsberg partnered with the Foundation and his CWA planning team, led by Tom Sanders. He dedicated time to becoming well versed and ready to present the concepts of record keeping and organization, goal setting, accumulating wealth, budgeting, debt management and retirement planning.
This summer, he presented the seminar to his pediatric dental residents.
“We know that starting early is one of the most important factors in developing a sound financial plan,” Ginsberg said. “Exposing our children and residents to the principles of the Accumulating Wealth Seminar could possibly be life changing to this age group.”
Due to the positive and enthusiastic response from his students, Dr. Ginsberg felt the preparation was well worth it.
