CWA planner Hunter Satterfield’s regular past time is reading. This is such a known fact by his colleagues and friends, that many of his clients tend to look to him for book recommendations in addition to financial planning. And for someone who typically reads 60-75 books per year, he is happy to oblige.
In fact, he gets so many requests that he felt led to diversify his own reading habits and tap a few other avid readers in the firm to form a book club.
CWA’s founding philosophy is based on a foundation of education, and the constant desire to learn and grow. Our planning teams strive to guide our clients to do the same. We believe reading is an essential component of leadership development.
Beginning in November, Digital News will feature a monthly book review, written by one of our passionate advisors. The advisor will write a review of a book of their choosing, and share the key points, applications and “aha” moments they derived from the book.
The book selections will be focused on professional development, finances and investments, entrepreneurship and personal growth. At the conclusion of each review, we will announce the following month’s selection for those who wish read along with our advisors.
We hope you will join along. The intention of this group is to help you become a better reader, commit to reading, grow relationships and learn from diverse perspectives. This initiative can help grow your mind, your leadership skills and your business.
