a family affair
When CPA Jennifer Klein joined CWA in 2005, she had no idea it would end up being a family affair. Jenn was the associate planner for two managing partners before leading a planning team of her own. Based on her experience, she was recently promoted to Director of Financial Planning, where her primary role is to promote best practices amongst the planning teams and develop and implement training strategies.
It’s also possible to say she has played a small role in recruitment. When husband and CPA Keith Klein was looking to transition to a new firm in 2010, she thought it could not only be fun, but simplify home life with a growing family if they worked at the same place.
“Many of my clients also have a spouse that works in their practice, either as an office manager, hygienist, marketing role or something else. Working so close to your spouse every day is unique and it’s one of those things we can relate to, and most especially, joke about.”
To know CPA Keith Klein, is to appreciate his subtle sarcasm and genuine smile. An avid golfer, bourbon aficionado and Texas Tech University athletics fan, this Dallas area native runs one of the largest planning teams at the firm. You’d think he might find juggling all his clients a challenge, however, with arguably the most Google Review mentions on the team, it’s clear he’s successful.
“Because I know each one of my clients and their practices well, I’m able to prioritize communication by focusing on the items that are most time sensitive. Bringing peace of mind to my clients, especially during times of uncertainty and growth is what I’m here for.”
When Keith and Jenn are not at the office, they are carpooling their two children from school, lacrosse practice, swimming, voice lessons and everywhere in between.
They also just added a new family member, a golden retriever puppy named Hershey. Puppy life isn’t easy, but they are smitten.
