Laura Lamar is an alumna of Southern Methodist University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting with a taxation focus.

Prior to CWA, she gained career experience at Ernst & Young working on corporate tax and individual tax for high-net-worth individuals. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Investment Advisor Representative.

Laura is active in her local church, where she mentors young women who have recently graduated college. She and her husband have one son, and together, they enjoy skiing and traveling abroad in their free time.
