Scott attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Shortly after, he received his Master of Science in Accounting from Lamar University.

He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a tax associate. There, he gained experience reviewing both federal and state tax returns. He joined the CWA team in March 2017.

Scott works heavily with orthodontic practices and is one of the leaders on the team responsible for producing the Orthodontic Practice Comparison report each year.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and Investment Advisor Representative. Scott is originally from Beaumont, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, traveling and cheering on the Baylor Bears with wife, Katy.
