Tom received his Bachelors and Masters of Science in accounting with an emphasis in taxation from the University of North Texas.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and an Investment Advisor Representative.

Tom started his career with Grant Thornton in its Dallas office as a tax specialist. His work with small to mid-size businesses and high net worth individuals led Tom to start his own practice serving similar clients.

He owned and operated his practice for 7 years. Tom then joined Cain Watters and Associates in 2001 in the tax department before becoming a financial planner.

Tom is married to his high school sweetheart, Kathy.  Together they have raised two beautiful young ladies, Kirstie and Morgan.  He and his wife enjoy traveling, golfing and hanging out with each other, family and friends.
